Terms of Service
The short version
- SiteFuse is a tool for businesses. Your company owns its data; we run the service for you.
- Every new company starts with a 30-day trial. If you don’t subscribe, the account moves to the Free plan — nothing is deleted.
- Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are in Canadian dollars, taxes extra.
- AI features produce drafts. A person confirms before anything is saved, and you are responsible for checking them.
- Get consent where the law requires it before recording people, locations or camera images.
1. Agreement
These Terms govern your company’s use of SiteFuse’s web console, mobile apps, API and, where offered, the SiteFuse Box (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service on behalf of a company, you agree to these Terms for that company and confirm you have authority to do so. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. The Service is intended for business use.
2. Accounts
- The person who creates the company account is its owner and administrator. Administrators manage users, roles and seats, and are responsible for the actions of their users.
- Keep sign-in credentials confidential and tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
- Provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
3. Plans, trial and billing
- Plans. Plan features and limits (seats, AI Actions, storage and others) are described at sitefuse.app and in the Service.
- Trial. A new company account includes a 30-day trial of the Team plan. No payment card is required. If you don’t subscribe by the end of the trial, the account moves to the Free plan: your data is kept, anything over Free limits becomes read-only, and you can upgrade at any time to restore full access.
- Billing. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, in Canadian dollars, plus applicable taxes (such as GST/HST). Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. Payments are handled by our payment processor.
- Changes in price. We will give at least 30 days’ notice of a price increase; it applies from your next renewal.
- Refunds. Fees are non-refundable, including for partial periods, except where required by law.
- Late payment. If a payment fails and isn’t resolved after reasonable notice, the account may move to the Free plan until payment is made.
4. Your data
- Ownership. Your company owns all content it or its users put into the Service (“Customer Content”).
- Our use. You grant us permission to host, process, transmit and display Customer Content only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service for you. We may use aggregated, de-identified information that does not identify you or your customers to operate and improve the Service.
- Your responsibilities. You are responsible for Customer Content and for having the rights and consents needed to put it into the Service, including information about your customers and employees.
- Export. Administrators can export reports such as work orders from the Service, and can request a complete export of Customer Content from us at any time. After termination, you have 30 days to request an export before we delete it (see section 11).
5. AI features
The Service includes AI features, including the Ozzie assistant, that draft work orders, summaries, quotes and annotations. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete. AI features do not save or change anything on their own; a user reviews and confirms every result, and you are responsible for decisions made using it. Use of AI features counts toward your plan’s monthly AI Actions as described in the Service. See the Privacy Policy for which providers process AI requests.
6. Acceptable use
You will not, and will not allow others to:
- use the Service in violation of law, including privacy, anti-spam and consumer-protection laws;
- record or monitor people, locations or camera images without the notice and consent the law requires;
- access networks, devices or cameras you are not authorized to access;
- upload malware, or attempt to probe, disrupt or bypass the Service’s security or usage limits;
- resell or provide the Service to third parties except as part of your own services to your customers;
- copy, reverse engineer or build a competing product from the Service.
We may suspend access that we reasonably believe threatens the security or integrity of the Service or violates these Terms, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
7. SiteFuse Box
Where your company uses a SiteFuse Box, the device monitors the site network it is installed on. You are responsible for installing it only on networks you are authorized to monitor and for obtaining the site owner’s consent, including for any camera images. Hardware purchase, loan, warranty and return terms are provided separately when the device is supplied.
8. Our property and feedback
SiteFuse and its licensors own the Service, including its software, design and content other than Customer Content. These Terms give you a right to use the Service while your account is active; they do not transfer ownership. If you send us suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
9. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers (listed in the Privacy Policy) and may let you connect other services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for them.
10. Availability and support
We work to keep the Service available and secure, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may perform maintenance and change or improve features over time; we will give reasonable notice before removing a significant feature from a paid plan. Support is available at [email protected].
11. Cancellation and termination
- You can cancel a paid plan at any time; it stays active until the end of the current billing period and then moves to the Free plan.
- You can ask us to close your company account at any time. We may terminate accounts for serious or repeated violations of these Terms, with notice where reasonable.
- After an account is closed, you may request an export of Customer Content within 30 days; after that we delete it as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. SiteFuse is a business tool and is not a safety, alarm or emergency-response system.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law: neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data; and SiteFuse’s total liability arising from or related to the Service or these Terms is limited to the amount your company paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose.
14. Indemnity
Your company will defend and indemnify SiteFuse against third-party claims arising from Customer Content or from use of the Service in violation of these Terms or the law.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. The courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law of your place of business requires otherwise.
16. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new date and, for material changes, notify account administrators at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
